- Ever wondered what Santa does in the lead up to Christmas? Well for a little sporting fun there is the World Santa Curling championships or as it is known in the Curling community a Bonspiel. It is perhaps not surprising that Curling is the sport of choice for Santa, given the cool icy conditions at the North Pole. Played at the only curling venue in England, Fenton's Rink, Santas from England, Scotland, and Canada competed for the 2nd World Santa Curling Championships. As expected, the mood was one of fun and camaraderie, with a Female Canadian Santa taking the title.
